June Mountain Vineyard is a beautiful 100 acre property tucked into central-eastern Sonoma County in the new Fountaingrove District AVA. It is surrounded by the Russian River Valley, Knights Valley, Sonoma Valley, and Napa Valley sub-appellations including the Spring Mountain District. There are 500 acres of vineyard in the 38,000-acre appellation and 5 wine producers. The 360 degree views span from the coastal mountain ranges to the west, to Mt. Tamalpais, Mt. Hood, and Sugarloaf to the south and east respectively. The new owners will become one of the 5 wine producers in the AVA. The property has 22 planted acres producing high quality varietals that have been sold to some of the top wine makers in Sonoma and Napa. No cost was spared in the design and planting of the vineyard. The state-of-the-art infrastructure was installed and designed not only for cultivation, but also with several spectacular building sites in mind.
The building sites come with permits for a 6-bedroom vested septic design, which can, for example support a 4 bedroom main residence and a two bedroom cottage.
